WoR TEU- Brutes prompt 2- Titanic Showdown
Riptide stood proudly next to Cailu as the two Haedians slinked away, thoroughly defeated. His chest was puffed, ears drawn back, and posture straight. He beat the two on his own, with just his pure physical strength- and from the gleam in their eyes as they glanced back at him, he seemed to have gained their respect, as well- especially after he lost it when he helped the forgotten whelps steal from their clan under the duo’s watch. Cailu, however, was constantly giving him a look, which was starting to chip at his pride and grate on his nerves. “What? What is it?” He finally snapped, huffing. “You sprang to violence without a second thought!” The haedian finally snapped, tail whacking at the ground, his mane and fur bristling. “So? They were clearly not going to talk. And this is a contest of strength.” The Vayron replied with ease, shrugging his blue shoulders lightly. “S- so? So? Either you or them could have been hurt–” “In a friendly competition?” He snorted. “We are not

Riptide walked through the dark tunnels, the gems growing out of the walls and ceiling were lightly gleaming and glowing as their odd little group walked forward- especially so when Merah walked past the crystals, his glowing, fiery coat making the surroundings return the warm glow. Riptide looked up towards Cailu, the Haedian slinking along them with surprising grace. “So, this clan.” Riptide rumbles, his deep voice echoing through the cavern. “The forgotten, you say?” He asked, tilting his head as Cailu nodded. “Yes, the forgotten.” “You said they were outcasts, lacking resources. Should we… give them something? To aid?” He asked, blue head tilted away- not wanting the others to think he was soft, skies forbid. “Excellent idea!” Merah said, his steps bounding happily next to him. “Very thoughtful! What do you reckon they would need?” “Resources, I assume.” Riptide said, stopping for a moment to dig through his pack. “...I have some fresh meat.” “It could work.” Cailu said
It was another beautiful day in the dome, and Ladon found himself standing in his pantry, looking around at… nothing. Who knew wolf pups ate so much? He looked down at Orthrus, the little pup licking her lips, tail wagging patiently. "...you just ate–" "Arf!" "No, you are right. You are a growing girl." He sighed, crumpling like a piece of paper before the adorable pup, patting her little head. "Well, I guess it is time to hunt. Ready for your first trip, Ort?" "Grraf!!" She barked excitedly, getting up and bouncing around Ladon, who chuckled as he got his spear. Time to go hunting. — The forest by his home was, as ever, lively. Orthrus ran alongside him, rushing headfirst into bushes and scaring off pheasants and other small birds- making the task of catching them far, far harder. But in his favor, it can be said that Ladon did not give up- his spear flying through the air in his attempts to get something. When he grew frustrated with the fleeing prey, he instead began to

Ladonos stood nervously before the grand archway of the coliseum, wringing his hands. He knew he wanted to- and needed to! Help, especially with half of the dome's residents bringing more wolves in by the day. He stood there, gathering his strength, taking deep breaths. "Come on, Ladon, you can do this. Its just some wolves. You will be fine." He said, trying to calm himself. "You wont be fine if you go in there that stressed." Said the gruff voice coming from behind him, making the brown rexal jump lightly. Approaching from the direction of the well was another rexal, his eyes hidden in a mottled shag of fur. The massive grey rexal was carrying roughly five water vases- which Ladon quickly reached to help with. "Thanks." the bigger rex said, sniffling lightly, using his now free hand to wipe at a fresh looking cut on his snout. "Name's Brendanus. I'm in charge of the wolves- i assume you came to help?" He asked, leading them in. "Ladonos. And yes- i was hoping i can help ease

It was a boring, lazy day in Atlas for Aspis. He was currently off duty, between jobs if you will, and wasting the dracm he earned in the cove over the last two weeks. He was eating his figs absentmindedly when a loud crash sounded, followed by vases falling to the ground and a speeding Rexal coming forth- running right into him. Aspis caught the dark purple rex in his arms, stopping her from toppling to the ground. "Woah– are you alright?" He asked, eyebrow raised. With a huff, she pushed the orange male off, growling at him. "I'll be much better when you watch your step–" she hissed, then her head snapped back at the sound of a yell. "TOXIS! GET BACK HERE AND PAY FOR THE VASES, YOU MENACE-" She cursed, then took off running again, ducking into an alleyway just as an older rexal, his hands stained with clay, came clamoring around the corner. "Where is she?! Where is that troublemaker?!" He howled, then gasped when he saw the smashed amphoras. "Elders help me, this is hundreds

Ladon's nose was practically brushing the ground as he trudged forward through the forest, furious. How dare he! How dare that pompous, self righteous, bold THIEF go into his gardens, and steal from his crops! And to add insult to injury, in their last foray the damned criminal took his hand made gardening gloves, too! He was so busy grumbling that he nearly missed the small print in the ground, but as luck would have it- he spotted it just in time. "Ah-ha! Found you!" He smirked, his tongue flicking out of his mouth to catch the scent better. Mud, filth, and larceny. That was his target, indeed. With yet another hiss, Ladon trudged deeper into the forest, his tail lashing out behind him. This was the third time in the past two weeks that the same thief came into his gardens in the dead of night, tore up his new saplings, ripped fruits and bark from his trees, and dug through his mulch pile, looking for elders know what. And he has had ENOUGH. "Today, I will find you, thief. And

Drudgery- Aspasia's gardens
The faux sun of the late afternoon was heating up the scales on Ladon's back as he worked, dirt and soil caked beneath his claws and getting under his scales. He did not mind the feeling, in fact- he relished it, the connection to the ground- Gaia, a voice kept whispering in his head- helping him feel grounded, content. Aspasia was currently still out in the market, and while the kind Rexal still allowed many to rump around in her gardens, he could see how the state of them deteriorating pained her. So he decided that he shall come by before dusk each day and strive to organize and help her, knowing full well how much it hurt when your hard work was ruined. With his claws he dug deeper furrows in the ground, relocating and replanting the crops that were uprooted by accident. He used his tail to push the soil into mounds, the hard, scaly spikes digging into the soft ground methodically as Ladon made new holes for seeds. Each one of the holes he filled with a different crop, the
